July 2017. A decision was made ...
At the time of the beginning of work on this site, I celebrated the 20th anniversary of the "creative" activities on the fields of the Internet. My first web project was born on January 27, 1997. By July 2017, I had 56 large and small (three domain names) projects under my belt (both active and archived).
I honestly admit the return from such a considerable creative baggage, alas, for five or six years I have not had any (occasionally letters come from the website dedicated to the memory of my best leader). Why did I decide to register the fourth domain and start building the next (already the third in a row) "official" creative site?
The hopes of young men are pissing ... On April 7, 2017, the "young man" turned 50 years old and he celebrated the 30th anniversary of creative literary, 20th anniversary of creative web design, 15th anniversary of creative photo-art and design (design and illustrating books) activities. As I already admitted, the return on numerous web projects at the time of the decision was zero. But the "love of art", gambling, hope at random and ... real admiration for the interface and capabilities of the WIX system did their job and ... I "swallowed the bait" (After repeatedly scrolling through the advertising of the WIX system on YouTube). Having tried the free possibilities, after two days of "games", I paid for one of the commercial packages and got the 4th domain name for me in addition :. After some deliberation, I chose www.okenami.com

So - on the 1st of August I started another wiok of my Internet Journey. Having started exactly 20 years ago with the "discovery" of the "Island of Romance", which, having risen from the abyss of the Internet in 1997 by 2013, turned into the "Planet of Mikhail Mazel", I again returned to the "Island" ... Okenami ... I returned in the hope of using the emerging web technologies, a convenient interface for organizing pages, organizing menus, forms of communication, commenting, organizing blogs ... to establish feedback with readers - viewers - listeners of my work and maybe even sell my books and ... find new friends. This sometimes happened at the turn of the millennium, when the Internet was a wonder and was not a tool for business people, but a refuge for romantics. And I, as you could understand from all of the above, even if in fact the above is a romantic. Romantic with Okenami - Islands of Romance.

Concept development. Start...
The main thing that influenced the speed of making a positive decision to "take" "start" - the presence of a "mobile" version of the site. Not just "presence", but instant emergence at the same time as "basic". Convenient interface for checking "readability" and "adjustments" of the last days. As soon as I realized this, all doubts were dropped and at that very moment I paid for the service for a year. It is the "mobile version" of the site, not a 50% discount but a year, feedback forms, blogs, ease of combining text and karting, customizing colors and backgrounds, menu hierarchies, linking to Facebook and newsletter lists (which, no doubt, " bribed "... it was the" mobile version "that finally seduced the" poet's soul ".
Concept?
In fact, the concept was simple. As a basis for the design, I took the last one from my "official" site "Mikhail Mazel's Planet".
The first priority is to put all my books in an easy-to-read PDF format and ... provide links to online stores in case someone wants to do me the honor ...
The next stage: to turn off individual poems together with video-audio clips and forms of "feedback" - comments.
August 2017 went to mastering new web technology (which was in the 21st year of knowledge of web development is not so difficult, although time consuming) and content filling. The PDF stage is almost completed and the text is uploaded "All poems for 30 years in one file." Videos of new poems of 2017, combined into the collection "The Smell of Wormwood", have been posted. 5 audio song collections are uploaded.
Hope to organize all links to Online Book Stores in the USA and Russia in September.
Future plans: thematic groups of poems (develop projects We love them. My favorite bards. And so on) ... Audi books. Photo galleries.
I master and maintain two blogs. One from a mobile phone: mostly photo reports of walks in Jersey City and in Manhattan. Stationary - texts on various topics that excite me.
