When I came up with the word "Okenami"
        I didn’t know yet what “Okinami” was in Japanese
        means "crest of the sea wave"


Not inclined to be overweight, slightly gaining weight,
but without losing subtleties over the years,
he sincerely hopes to go
to the island they discovered - Okenami,
sheltered from the Cooks and Columbus,
invisible neither to companions nor to birds,
which year is calling the sound of rumba
to go down to the unknown shore.

And autumn prowls silently in Moscow
by the pirate brig in the fifth ocean,
but he, having stepped on board, will not ask again
toss him up to Okenami in the morning.
Glancing over the damp roofs,
he will go down back somewhere in the center,
slides down the tightrope by the poster
with his last name and dates of concerts.

The ship will disappear, sprinkling leaves with summer.
He will wake up from the cry of the nightjar
and without getting dressed, will run to the tablet,
add a surf line to the map.

So night after night, narrowing the spots.
He comes to him with music and dreams,
calling back from space,
running along the ridges, Okenami.
Nobody knows what's in the cases with the guitars
he keeps the path to his invisible muse.
And the audience carries away with the spell
from his concerts of crabs ... and jellyfish.

Not old yet, though seemingly tired,
he is in no hurry home from night concerts.
He thinks about the one who gave the name
(inscribed on Posters in the center).
He is waiting for her, he believes that he cannot

And now the Full House (another one) was born and lived.
And again his legend is fresh as night.
