Я злой. Поверь - теперь я очень злой,
и пусть меня за доброту ценили.
Я отправляю строфы на убой,
молчания накручиваю мили
и плохо к людям (в целом) отношусь
(я знаю, кое-кто меня похвалит)...
Я и надеждами себя давно не тщу.
Вот только некто взгляд мне в душу пялит.
То жжёт её, то просто бередит.
Прочь гонит мне несвойственные звуки.
Я просто зол. Я зол. Я не сердит.
Я зол. Я не стремлюсь в башибузуки.
Я перестал в толпе искать огонь,
отдельными глазами излучённый.
Но что это стоит?.. Троянский конь
пред частоколом строчек огорченных?
Я злой. Я злой. Я злой. Смотри - не жду
я больше чуда, рифмы собирая.
Я буду в них испытывать нужду,
спасать... Но не даря, а отбирая.
Я злой. Я разбиваю каждый слог
на острые осколки тайной боли.
И отголоски побежденных склок
сбегают развесёлою гурьбою.
А этот конь, улыбкою маня,
вдруг обернётся женщиной печальной,
и снова добрым сделает меня,
и головой я грустно покачаю.
