Ну что же... перекур для некурящих.
Мороженое. Или крепкий чай.
Да улыбнётся всяк сюда входящий.
Да убоится бестолку скучать.
Для пребывающих в тоске - отдельный столик
с табличкой лаконичною "Тоска".
На нём не скатерть - вспаханное поле.
А ниже поля?.. Ясень пень - доска.
Для тех, кто преуспел в науке споренья -
дубовый крепкий стол,.. что бастион.
(С табличкой: "Изменяю ход истории".)
... Уже лет двадцать, как пустует он.
А между ними старенькие парты,
конторки, тумбочки и бочки. Чем не... СТОП!
Тут перекур! Для некурящих. Что?.. Не парьтесь.
Вас не попросят вышивать крестом.
Вы озадачены? Вам хочется трудиться?
Впервые... Вновь? Ну да... Вас ждёт успех.
Блаженен всякий одарённый дикцией
и избежавший бряцанья доспех.

Вновь проводив последнего клиента,
я зал окину взглядом знатока.
Да. В заведеньи не хватает суккулентов
и среди прочего, пожалуй, верстака.
Но кто это? За столиком пустующем...
В накидке... И когда он тут возник?
А вдруг... в игру опять пришёл вистующий.
А вдруг реальный. Настоящий. Не из книг.
Мне б обслужить. Спросить: "Какого чаю,
или мороженое?.." Ноги как вросли.
Средь сонма - мысль одну я различаю:
что мы до встречи с ним не доросли.
А он молчит. А он не шелохнётся.
И не понять: он шутит или нет.
И только желваками сердце бьётся.
Когда б носил - я б выронил лорнет.
