Смех перед рассветом
Запах полыни. Пора отпусков
Путь1355

И только конский топот, и только конский топот,
и нету окончания дороги без конца.
И пот, и стопы скопом, и опыт тешит ропот,
и плавное качание, и торги (слегонца).
И в скрипе дилижанса, и в брызгах на камзоле,
и в смехе без причины над мокрой мостовой,
и в кожаном футляре, ласкающем мозоли -
"и" в нотах проступают: грядущею листвой.
И в каждом отголоске, и в лоске, и в полосках,
и в их чередовании, и в конском ржанье: "И-и-и..."
И снова всё сторицей. И снова эта плоскость.
И всё на ней в новинку. Всегда. ...Имажени...
И только наша память. И темнота. И пламя.
И отсветы на лицах. И снег расцвёл в садах.
И путь, что был оплачен отнюдь не векселями.
И нет душе покоя. И это - навсегда.
