Какое странное затишье.
Какая трепетная мгла.
Из мороси четверостишьем
печаль на лоб к тебе легла.
И ты поёжилась невольно.
И ночь отрезала пути.
Я так боялся сделать больно;
твоё услышать: «Отпусти».
И плеч твоих едва касаясь,
я звёзды провожал наверх,
совсем забыв, что ты босая
стоишь… Задумчивость не грех.
Я радуюсь, что ты, вздыхая,
моих не избегаешь рук,
и свет, внизу небес стихая,
затеплился меж нами вдруг.
