Я Вас знаю. Вы были когда-то.
Я ведь тоже когда-то там был.
Мы солдаты... Солдаты? Солдаты.
Это пыль. Да, дорожная пыль.
Я Вас помню, хотя, был, не видим.
Я Вас чувствовал, пусть, и не знал.
Путь не близкий обычно-обыден,
как обыден заряда запал.
Запад снова окрасится красным.
Жизнь прекрасна, что эта река.
Всё напрасно?.. Напрасно... Не ясно.
Лишь немного запачкан рукав.
